Gordon is the Former chairman of Keighley-based Peter Black Holdings and the current chairman of Black Family Investments.

Gordon will be joining us to discuss how a small Yorkshire-based company came to be a major supplier to the UK’s leading retailers, with annual sales of £300 million and around 3,000 employees.

  • Peter Black Holdings launched Adidas sportsbags in the UK and, supplied footwear, toiletries and cosmetics to Marks and Spencer.
  • In 2005, Gordon was awarded a CBE for his work in business and charity.
  • In 2007, the Peter Blacks company was sold to Chinese trading giants Li & Fung for £48m.

*Gordon was Chairman of High Street TV which marketed the best-selling Nutribullet smoothie maker.

  • Gordon now runs Black Family Investments,with his brother, Thomas, in Keighley. It is part-office, part-museum, housing an impressive collection of 28 vintage cars.
