3D SHOWCASE ADDS FURTHER VALUE TO BUY YORKSHIRE

Capturing a succession of High Definition (HD) images, apollo3D will utilise state-of-the-art technology to create an innovative, interactive 3D showcase, which will take visitors on a seamless virtual tour of the exhibition space. What’s more, with the addition of ‘hotspots’, information such as website links, prices and product descriptions can be embedded within the tour to ensure that the commercial benefits of the conference continue long after the doors of the event have closed for another year.

Mark Shepherd, MD and Founder of apollo3D, comments: “We’re looking forward to bringing Buy Yorkshire to life with our 3D showcase, which will give those attending and exhibiting another exciting way to market their products and potentially do business outside of the traditional opening hours of the event.”

As well as being posted on our own online channels, including the YM Twitter feed and website, the 3D showcase will be shared with delegates who can view this on a range of digital devices including mobile phones, tablets and laptops.
In addition, our exhibitors will each be provided with a unique link, along with a 360-degree panoramic picture of their stand, which can be easily shared across websites, social media and marketing materials to drive awareness to the products or services that are offered by each brand.

Kate Hutchinson, General Manager at The Yorkshire Mafia, comments: “The fact that we’re incorporating apollo3D into this year’s conference for the very first time is really exciting and will help to extend the reach of the conference further than ever before. We’re looking forward to seeing the showcase and to hearing more about how it has benefited our exhibitors and delegates.”
In true YM style, apollo3D’s offering will allow us, our exhibitors and the wider business community to meet, learn and share on an ever-larger scale.

By offering the virtual showcase both conference attendees and their wider social network can virtually visit stands and experience the quality of the exhibitors, as well as the scale of the event. Those with mobility issues or disabilities can also review the space and facilities that are available. Despite being less than a year old, apollo3D has been nominated for a Global Industry Awards for a showcase that it created for another exhibition. Nominated for the ‘Best Commercial Space’ the company was shortlisted from tens of thousands of entries worldwide. Recognised for quality, technical competence and marketing creativity the winner of the award will be announced in February during an event in California.
