Dia Chakravarty

Dia joined the Daily Telegraph as the Brexit Editor in July 2017. Having read Law at Oxford University, her career started in the City as a tax consultant. She then worked as Partnership Coordinator for a global partnership between Barclays Bank and two international charities, seeking to extend access to basic financial services through savings-led microfinance. She next moved on to the Freedom Association, making the case for press freedom. Prior to joining the Telegraph, Dia was in charge of media operation at the TaxPayers’ Alliance as their Political Director. Dia is an accomplished singer specialising in Bengali music.She has published two critically-acclaimed solo albums
